Yes, this is possible.

Why I offer transcriptions...

This is how it began...

When I started teaching Oud back in 2013 it was difficult to find scores to the pieces I wanted to teach.

When you did find a decent score, you would find mistakes, and no ornamentation would be included. Sometimes this is all you need, but this can slow down the teaching process and make it challenging for students to follow.

So I started transcribing my own scores.

I also realized I enjoyed doing it.

Now I want to increase the availability of middle eastern music for which there is a lack of resources and good notation.

I'm interested in the preservation of middle eastern music whether it is Persian, Turkish, Kurdish, or Arabic.

It's a rare skill to understand the tonal differences between Persian, Arabic and Turkish music, and even rarer to notate them accurately with the proper ornamentation.

I'm looking forward to helping you with your project.
